Hi everyone and a very spooky, happy Halloween from the Junior room!
We had the best day ever. We came into our classroom this morning and everyone was dressed up, even Mrs. Byrne! The whole school went down to the Assembly room and we each got to show off our costume and explain what we dressed up as. We then went into our classroom and Mrs. Byrne had lots of exciting Halloween games planned for us. Firstly, we played ‘Musical Statues.’ We had to dance to the Halloween music and when the music stopped we had to freeze. Next we played ‘Wrap The Mummy.’ This was so much fun. We got into groups and had to use toilet roll to wrap up one of our friends. They ended up looking like a mummy; we couldn’t believe it! It was then time for our Halloween treats. Mrs. Byrne made some spooky jelly with spiders in it. It tasted delicious! We also got lots of crisps, chocolate and even some ghostly marshmallows. After we had our break outside we then came in and took part in our last party game: Apple Bobbing. This was by far the best game of the day. We had to put our hands behind our backs and bob for the apple. Everyone laughed and then tucked into the tasty apples. We were all so tired at the end of the day we got packed up and then went home. Take a look at some of our photos from today!
Happy Halloween.
