Athlone Mixed National School PTA
The PTA coordinates a range of after school activities and initiates projects which aim to promote the education, interests and well-being of the pupils, our children, of Athlone Mixed National School.
The PTA has good communication with parents, the school and its Board of Management.
The PTA holds its Annual General Meeting during the first term of the school year and are always in search of new members and ideas.
The PTA also meets regularly with the teachers throughout the year and all projects are developed in consultation with the school and Board of Management.
The PTA has established a parent contact list which enables efficient text communication with all parents. If your child/children join the school you will have the opportunity to register your contact details on the list.
Once registered, you will be notified of upcoming events and volunteer requirements and have the opportunity to be involved.
Each year the school communities engages in various fund raising activities in order to meet the ever increasing costs of running the school.
It is hoped that all families who enrol a child/children in the school will support any fundraising efforts organised by the PTA, teachers and pupils attending the school.
